SEC: Deadline approaches for financial reporting input

The public has until April 20 to comment on a “road map” that could
lead to the use of international financial reporting standards by U.S.
issuers, beginning in 2014. The plan proposed by the Securities and
Exchange Commission would be carried out over several years; the agency
would decide in 2011 whether adoption of international standards would
