Achaessa James Joins NCEO Staff
We are delighted to announce that Achaessa James has joined the NCEO in April 2010 to consolidate and guide the expansion of their equity compensation resources for private and public companies. Prior to joining the NCEO, Achaessa served the Seattle legal and business communities from 1990 to 2006, and worked with a Silicon Valley financial services outsourcer from 2006-2010.
Achaessa has provided corporate governance and equity administration support to a long list of successful start-ups such as Classmates.com, Jones Soda, Shop.com and Telegent Systems, Inc. She has managed SEC registrations and private equity transactions with many of Seattle's top corporate law firms including DLAPiper, Wilson Sonsini, Perkins Coie and VLG, and Seattle venture capital firms including OVP, Arch, Madrona and Ignition.
Achaessa was also the first winner of the Marilyn Perkins Marilyn J. Perkins Claassen Scholarshipfor the Certified Equity Professional Institute (CEP), and has received the CEP designation. Achaessa can be contacted at ajames@nceo.org.
