Equity in the Ness: Do Board of Directors get Equity 'and' Monetary rewards - ExpertCEO

As you guys were so great helping me out with my CEO 101 question, I thought I would post another up.



I am putting my Board of Directors together and what I need your expert
advice on is - even though the incoming Board of Directors (BoD) will be
receiving equity, should they also get paid i.e. - $1k-2k per month?



Personally I think they should as I believe in rewarding those who
deserve it, but I have some people telling me that not every company
with a BoD does!

compensation grants. None, though, deal with cash. I suspect that its
unusual for directors to receive cash in addition to equity in very
early stage companies which is my perception of your company.
