Executive Compensation Set at United Continental - Wall Street Journal

Newly formed
airline company United Continental Holdings Inc. disclosed the
compensation plans for its senior executives and its nonexecutive
chairman following Friday's close of the merger between UAL Corp. and
Continental Airlines Inc., creating the world's largest carrier by
traffic.


As United's president and chief executive officer, Jeff
Smisek will receive an annual salary of $975,000 and be eligible for an
annual bonus of up to 150% of his base salary, according to a Securities
