Sapient: SEC finishes stock option investigation

Sapient says SEC finishes stock option investigation, does not recommend action

NEW YORK (Associated Press) - Sapient Corp. said Friday that the
Securities and Exchange Commission informed the company that it
finished its investigation into the technology consulting company's
stock option grant practices.


Sapient said the SEC also informed
it that it does not plan to recommend enforcement action against the
company as a result of the probe.


Shares of Sapient fell 16 cents to close at $9.27. Top of page
