The BearingPoint's National Security Sector is currently searching for a Compensation Manager

Performance Profile:



Perform
as the Compensation subject matter expert or Manager on ongoing human
capital, strategic planning, pay-for-performance, and performance
management engagements in the Intelligence community. Manages overall
relationships with clients and has frequent and direct contact with the
most senior level executives of the client. Requires the highest level
of project management and consulting skills. Responsible for managing a
workstream team, a project or be a part of one or several projects as a
SME.

Managing the Business


Serve as domain knowledgeable resource in advising BearingPoint team
and client on tools and techniques to improve the development,
collection, analysis, and reporting of performance information

• Prepare and submit monthly reports, citing risks, open issues, and wins as a result of the investment

• Plan and execute full-team meetings to review key project milestones

• Responsible for personal chargeability and/or group chargeability, depending on the project

• Responsible for identifying new business opportunities

Client Management

• Serve as strategic and tactical advisor to clients

• Facilitate change through stakeholder analysis, leadership engagement, and learning program delivery at all levels

• Client interaction will be regular and sustained, encompassing both formal presentations and informal, routine communication.

• Responsible for contributing to revenue achievement or generating revenue achievement

Technical Competence

• Define, develop, and implement compensation strategies


Help to identify and leverage best practices in pay-for-performance
programs including human performance management, compensation, pay-pool
design and administration, and program evaluation

• Develop methodologies and approaches for implementing new compensation- based human capital programs and process improvements


Define technical program requirements and work with developers to
translate requirements into effective programs, systems, and tools

• Manage work through project plans.

Position Specific Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Organizational Development, or related field

• US Citizen with the eligibility to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance

• At least 8 to 10 years of overall experience in compensation consulting and/or pay for performance, and/or workforce analysis.

• Minimum of 3 years in management, leading teams in complex and fast moving environments

• Minimum of 3 years experience in consulting


At least 2 years of experience in both federal government pay
administration legislation, policy and regulation and industry
compensation

Position Specific Desired Skills:

•MBA, Master's degree in Human Capital Management, I/O psychology or a related field

•Certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR)

•Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)

•Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)

Logistics:

No travel outside of the local area is required for this position.
